Pregnancy + Postpartum Chiropractic Care in Apple Valley, MN
Your body does a lot during pregnancy and even more after birth. I’m here to support you through all of it with gentle, intentional care that helps you feel a little more like yourself again.
Pregnancy and postpartum come with their own set of aches and surprises. Chiropractic care can help ease:
-
low‑back and pelvic pressure
-
rib + diaphragm pain
-
that deep “pulling” feeling in the front of the belly
-
pubic bone pain
-
hip or glute tightness
-
discomfort from sleeping or sitting
-
postpartum soreness and core tension
-
neck + shoulder strain from feeding and holding baby

The Webster Technique
I’m certified in the Webster Technique, which is a gentle, specific way of supporting balance in the pelvis during pregnancy. It’s not about forcing anything or “turning” a baby — it’s simply about helping your body feel more open, relaxed, and aligned as things grow and shift.

During pregnancy, a few key areas can get tight or out of balance. These are the spots I gently support during a Webster‑focused visit:
-
Sacrum — the “tailbone” area that helps anchor the pelvis
-
Piriformis — a deep glute muscle that can get tight and affect pelvic comfort
-
Sacrotuberous ligament — a supportive ligament on the back side of the pelvis
-
Iliopsoas — a major hip flexor on the front of the body that often gets tight
-
Round ligament — a front‑side ligament that can feel tender or “pull” as your belly grows
-
Pubic symphysis — the joint at the very front of your pelvis that can feel sore, sharp, or achy as things shift and soften during pregnancy
What to Expect During Prenatal and Postpartum Chiropractic Visits

Visits are super calm and hands‑on in the best way. You’ll get settled with comfy bolsters under your knees or belly, and we move through things slowly. I check how your pelvis is sitting, release tight spots, and make gentle adjustments that actually feel good.

Most moms say it feels like their body finally gets a chance to breathe. There’s usually a mix of soft tissue work, light stretching, and those small, specific adjustments that help everything line up and relax. It’s supportive, not scary, and the whole experience is easygoing and very “come as you are.”
Postpartum
Support

Care doesn’t end once baby arrives. Postpartum bodies work hard in new ways, and they deserve attention too. I help with the tension that comes from feeding, holding, rocking, and carrying your little one, along with the shifts your pelvis and core go through after birth.
And no matter where you’re at in your postpartum journey, we’ll help your body feel a little more comfortable so you can move through your days with less strain and more ease.
